04:10:10 - Winner Announcement!
Howdy everyone!
Apologies for the delay, but we have managed to get around to choosing our winners.
Now before we make the announcement, we have to let you all know that we could only pick 2 designers, in the end, rather than the proposed 10. We do, however, have a poignant reason for this; one that was through no fault of the entrants, or indeed anybody.
While we received many brilliant and clever designs, the majority were deemed inelligible because they simply didn't translate onto the frame properly, and any adjustments would have compromised the design intended. That coupled with the fact that some designs had breached the rules of our terms and conditions meant our list of eligible designs was cut even further.
As this is a quite a new concept and something like this hasn't been done before, it was to be expected. However, it wasn't aniticipated that the common mistake would be so... well, common.
It stands to reason as many of our hand-picked designers also had trouble with their designs, but our communication with them meant were able to work out solutions to many of the challenges faced.
As a consolation for those that entered the competition, we will be sending out a piece of limted edition LUMA bike kit specially designed by 2xanadu and McFaul, to ALL entrants.
Apologies to those of you who worked hard on your designs. Many of them were beautiful, but technicalities prevented us from being able to get the bikes made.
We'll be sending an e-mail to you to confirm and will have those gifts sent out to you after the show.
Now without further ado, we'd like to congratulate our winners:
Daniell Hunt and Yvonne Tang.
Both winners will have their work produced and put on display in the Bespoke: Creative show, and since both were so excellent, both winners will receive their bike frames.
We'll be putting up mock-up images of how the winning designs will look, followed by previews of some of the other bikes that will appear in the show, later this week.
Many thanks to everyone who entered, and we hope you all enjoy the show!
Congratulations again, Dani and Yvonne!

18:08:10 - One Day Left!!!
Hello Everybody!!!
ONE DAY LEFT!!!
After a doing our best, we've managed to get the gallery working again... for the most part...
So, please feel free to pop your submissions into the gallery.
Please note, however, for the gallery to upload successfully you must adhere to the dimensions and sizes stated on the submission page (JPG, MAX 400Kb, max resolution 2000x2000 , min resolution 600x600).
If, for whatever reason (likely our to be our wonderfully working system...), you do not receive a confirmation for your submission or do not see it in the gallery, then please send your art work to info@bespoke-creative.net using the same dimensions as in the gallery - JPG, MAX 400Kb, max resolution 2000x2000 , min resolution 600x600 (in case you missed it the first time).
Artwork submitted to the gallery shall be considered final pieces. Lastly, to avoid confusion, the artwork will be taken down after Friday 20th August 2010, so that we can vacate the space for when we place up the 10 winning designs.
Strange? Well, just go with it...
Whatever happened to the good ol' days when things used to run on potatoes, 'ey...? Tsk!
NOW! For a little bit of good news!
The OFFICIAL cut-off date is midnight Thursday 19th August... however, because you've all been so incredibly understanding and supportive, we will be accepting any artwork submitted before midnight the following Friday. :)
It's only fair, considering how amazingly patient and loving you've all been!
So, please accept this as a form of our most deepest, humble, groveling and, downright, shameless apologies.
We love you!

02:08:10 - HERE COMES A NEW CHALLENGER! + An Important Update
Hey, hey!
An interesting little thing happened to us recently, and since it's Bespoke: related we're obliged to share it with you!
Hong Kong based designer, Jasper Wong got in touch with us recently about Bespoke: Creative.
Jasper, a brand designer, illustrator, curator and former Hypebeast Creative Director, was introduced to us by Ben Qwek , one of our original hand-picked designers.
Being a fan of Jasper's work already, we had no idea he and Ben were friends, so we were absolutely chuffed beyond imagination when he expressed an interest in joining our line-up!
There was, however, the awkward fact that we have no bikes left!
Thankfully, one of our designers was kind enough to give up one of their frames to allow Jasper to hop onboard.
If that wasn't enough, Jasper asked to bring along fellow creative, and good friend, Aaron De La Cruz to collaborate with him, bringing our number of designers to a grand total of 12!
Now onto a slightly more dire matter.
The system for accepting artwork submissions is currently down.
As soon as it is back up we will make another announcement. Until then, please refrain from attempting to submit any work as we will NOT receive it. The deadline will remain the same.
Apologies for any inconveniece caused.
Thanks for your patience, everyone!

26:07:10 - MASSIVE NEWS UPDATE!!!
Hey guys!
We’ve got some exciting news! Since the deadline is drawing close, John (McFaul) and the team were talking about judging the competition and we came to the conclusion that you all deserve more! Oh, so much MORE!
So! We’ve decided to extend the deadline for the competition, to the 19th August 2010, AND! John will pick the best design, and the respective entrant will be awarded the very bike that their design is transferred on to!
We hadn’t realised, until a bit recently, that there are a few bike fanatics amongst our members. So, to warm the tiny cockles of your little hearts, we thought it’d be best to let you know that the frames aren’t just any old frames; they’re top-quality Columbus ones made by former Dutch bike rider, and leading bike specialist, Jan Kole, of Colossi cycling.
Jan, who began riding professionally in 1978 for 3 years, turned to making customised hand-made bike sets in 1981. He has since, opened up a factory in China and distributes for Cannondale, Campagnolo, Challenge, Oval, Miche, FFWD, and many others.
Oh, and did we mention the bike frames will be hand-painted?
So, that’s your GRAND PRIZE; a hand-painted bike frame, worth over £1,000, made by a leading bike-specialist, that you helped to create and a massive platform to get your work out in the open!
Now do we love you, or do we love you?
Get those little creative claws of yours working, folks!
We’re gonna make you a star!
